Missions Conference

"Take Up Your Cross"

Sunday, October 4th 6:00 p.m. begins our annual Missions Conference.  It will go through Thursday, October 8th.  Everyone is invited to attend our services beginning at 7 p.m. each night.  Next week, each elementary class will enjoy a visit from a missionary each day of the conference.  The 7th – 12th graders will be given an opportunity to enjoy some time with all of the missionaries as they will have a quesiton / answer time with the missionaries next week.  Parents are welcome to join us for chapel Monday – Thursday from 8:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.  Please continue in prayer for this week and all that will be done to make this a special week for the missionaries and their families; and that the students' hearts will be prepared so the Lord can work in their lives.


Berean Sports

Today, the 7th – 12th grade soccer team will be competing in the Small School Stateline Tournament.  They will be leaving at 12:30 p.m.  Their game starts at 2:00 p.m.  The bus will be returning around 4:30 p.m.  Students should bring money for consessions.

Also, the versity volleyball teamwill be competing against Three Rivers at 5:30m p.m.  The bus will be leaving at 2:30 p.m. and should return around 10:45 p.m.  The girls will need to bring money to buy supper.

Next Friday, October 9th, the 7th – 12th grade soccer team will compete in a home game at Heritage Park against Freedom Farm at 5:00 p.m.  Also, both volleyball teams will compete in a home game at Drager against Lansing Baptist.  The junior high game starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.  Both volleyball teams will have practice in the BBA gym from 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.


Lunchroom Closed

Please note that the lunchroom will be closed Monday, October 5th.  Elementary students will eat in their classrooms and 7th – 12th graders will eat in their homerooms.  Please be sure to pack an appropriate lunch as microwaves will not be available.


Fall PTF Cancelled

The fall PTF on Tuesday, October 27th, has been cancelled due to MACS Semi Finals in soccer & volleyball.


Pop Can Drive

The 5th and 6th grade class is still collecting pop cans & bottles for the missionaries next week.  Monday – Wednesday.  Please help them by leaving your bags of pop cans & bottles next to the side door outside the 5th and 6th grade classroom.  Thank you.


Scarecrow Contest / Elementary Art

Miss Ginni Kish was informed that the scarecrow contest has been cancelled; however, the Tecumseh Library will still display our scarecrow during the Appleumpkin Festival, October 10th & 11th.
