Kindergarten Class

On Wednesday, November 25th, the Kindergarten class will have a special Thanksgiving Day.  Mrs. Johns would like for each student to come to school dressed as a Pilgrim or an Indian.  A note will go home letting the parents know what food item their child volunteered to bring for the party.  This will be a day of fun for the Kindergarten class.  Please contact Mrs. Johns if you have any questions.


Youth Explosion

Today, Monday and Tuesday, Bro. Engle has invited all 7th – 12th graders to go canvassing outside of the local public schools from 2:00 p.m. until 3:20 p.m.  A permission slip went home with the students on Wednesday.  Students must turn in a signed permission slip in order to participate in the public school canvassing.  Only those studens who wish to help will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m.  If you do not wish to have your student canvass, they may stay in school until 3:05 p.m.  They will be allowed to change into tennis shoes, but should remain in their casual uniform.  Bro. Engle is in charge of this activity.  For any questions or concerns please contact him.


Ladies & Teen Girls Conference

All 7th – 12th grade girls are invited to the upcoming Winter Wonderland Confernce scheduled for Friday & Saturday (December 4th & 5th).  This is a reminder that the registration forms and money are due this Sunday, November 15th.  Please turn in your forms & direct any questions to Mrs. Rogers.  There will be no organized cheerleading for the basketball game December 4th.  Miss Brown is attending the conference and has encouraged the cheerleaders to attend as well.  Several church members, including the faculty & staff, will be riding to the conference together in the church van.  Your young lady is also welcome to ride in the church van.  For those planning to ride in the church van on Friday, please be in the church parking lot at 2:00 p.m.  School will be dismissed at noon on December 4th due to the number of staff ladies and students attending.


Thanksgiving Break

Wednesday, November 25th,school will be let out at 12:00 p.m.  Classes will resume Monday, November 30th.  We hope you enjoy the time with your family!

Varsity Volleyball

Volleyball is not over, yet!  The varsity volleyball girls still have a few games left to win this year!  Volleyball practice will be held in the BBA gym from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20th, Tuesday (24th), Monday (30th), and Thursday, December 3rd.  **If a student needs to stay after school until practice begins, they may stay with Miss Riley in her classroom.   If a student needs a ride home after practice please let Miss Patty or Miss Riley know.  If there are any questions, please feel free to contact Miss Patty or Miss Riley.**  Plan on competing in an away game December 1st.


Elementary Basketball

Saturday, November 14th, the 4th – 6th grade boys will have basketball practice in the BBA gym from 10 a.m. until Noon.  Also, the 1st – 3rd grade boys will have their first basketball practice in the BBA gym on Saturday, November 21st, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
