Berean Sports

Tonight, January 8th, the junior high and varsity basketball teams have a home game at Springbrook against Heritage of Findlay.  The junior high game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game starts at 6:45 p.m.  The 1st – 3rd grade boys will play during halftime of the varsity game.  Please notice the location of the game is a change in the original athletic schedule.  The junior high players need to be at Springbrook at 5 p.m. and the varsity players need to be there by 6 p.m.

Monday, January 11th, both teams will be competing in a home game at Drager against Apostolic Christian.  The junior high game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game starts at 6:45 p.m.  The 1st &ndash 3rd grade boys will play during halftime of the varsity game.  The junior high players need to be at Drager at 5 p.m. and the varsity players need to be ther by 6 p.m.

Friday, January 15th, both teams have a home game at Springbrook against Faith of Davison.  The junior high game starts at 5:30 p.m and the varsity game starts at 6:45 p.m.  Once again, the 1st – 3rd grade boys will play during halftime of the varsity game.  The junior high players need to be at Springbrook at 5 p.m. and the varsity players need to be there by 6 p.m.


Homecoming Court

Congratulations to the 2010 Homecoming Court.  The following students were elected by their fellow classmates to represent their Class for Homecoming night:
9th Grade: Kenny Gonzales & Kezia Letson
10th Grade: Zach Chrisman & Amber Scott
11th Grade: Daniel Potter & Lexi LaVoy
12th Grade: Michael Morbach
**Girls on the Homecoming court need to have dresses approved by Miss Brown no later than Monday, January 25th.


Honor Roll

Congratulations to all of the A & B Honor Roll Students.  Be sure to look for your name in the Daily Telelgram next week.  Details for the Honor Roll Lunch will be announced at a later date.


2nd Quarter Merit Winners

The following students (listed in order of most merits won) earned the most merits and have earned a trip to Pizza Hut with Pastor and Mrs. Rogers:  Leah Cook, Melody Shawver, Erica Mormon, Gabby Munro, Stella Varnum, Kezia Letson, Matthew Varnum, Ryan Cook, Josh Shawver, Phebe Letson, Jessica Cook, Eliha Letson and Bryan Garcia.  The 2nd quarter merit winners will be permitted to wear denim for this occasion which will take place on Thursday, January 14th.  A permission slip will go home with the students next week.


Support our Seniors

The Senior Class is currently selling the Elder-Beerman Coupon Booklets for $5.  This years Winter Family Day is on February 27th.  The coupon booklet is a great deal for anyone interested in shopping & saving money!


Volleyball

The varsity volleyball game on January 22nd has been cancelled due to Antiock Baptist's cancellation; therefore, there will be no volleyball practice until further notice.  For any questions, please see Miss Riley or Miss Cook.  Thanks!
