For the week of 2/19 to 2/25/10


Berean Sports

Tonight, both teams play at Springbrook against Harvest Temple.  The Jr. High game starts at 5:45 p.m. and the Varsity game starts at 7:00 p.m.  The 1st – 3rd grade boys will play during halftime of the varsity game.

Tuesday, Febrary 23rd, both basketball teams & the VARSITY VOLLEYBALL team will travel to Bird Lake.  The varsity volleyball game starts at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Jr. High game at 6:00 p.m.  The Varsity basketball game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  The bus will leave at 3:30 p.m. and return approximately 9:30 p.m.  Students will need to bring money for supper after the game

Next Friday, Febrary 26th, both basketball teams will compete at Springbrook in their last home game for the season!  (Please note this game is in addition to the previously issued basketball schedule.)  The Jr. High team will compete against Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. and the Varsity team will compete against the Tri &ndash County Patriots at 7:00 p.m.  Come out and CHEEER the BOBCATS to victory!


Senior Recognition

Tonight, the Seniors of Berean Baptist Academy will be honored during our annual Senior Recognition Night.  The ceremony begins at 5:15 p.m. in the Springbrook Middle School gymnasium.  Those participating in the ceremony will need to be in the gym by 5:00 p.m.  Also, just a reminder, all who are participating in the ceremony should wear Sunday style dress.


Baked-Goods Auction

Tonight, the Senior Class will be selling a variety of baked – goods to raise money for Senior Trip.  Come out to Springbrook and support the seniors.  Don't forget to bring extra $$$ (checks payable to BBA)!


Toledo Mud Hens Field Trip

Tickets for parents and family members must be paid for by March 5th.
Wednesday, May 19th, all 1st – 6th grade students will enjoy a day at the ballpark with the "World Famous Toledo Mud Hens!"  Cost for each student attending is $6.00.  Parents and family members are wealcomed to attend for the same price!  A meal ticket is available for $4.00 more.  Outside food is not allowed.


Youth Group

The following girls earned an activity trip through their youth group, and Bro. Engle has asked that they be permitted to wear casual denim to school as they will be leaving at noon on Friday, February 26th: Melody Shawver, Gabby Munro, Kezia Letson, Emily Chrisman, Jessica Cook, and Emily Strong.


Prayer

Due to popular demand, the notes from last Tuesday's chapel message were printed on the back of the newsletter.
