For the week of 2/26 to 3/04/10


Berean Sports

Tonight, February 26th, the Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball teams will compete in their last home game for the season.  Both games will take place at Springbrook.  The Junior Varsity team will compete against Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m., and the Varsity team will compete against the Tri – County Patriots at 7:00 p.m.  The 1st – 3rd graders will play their last game during halftime of the varsity game.  GO BOBCATS!!!

Tuesday, March 2nd, will be the MACS Quarter Finals!  The tournament will be help at Captiol City Baptist in Holt, Michigan.  The Bobcat Varsity Basketball team will compete in the tournament at 5:30 p.m.  Students should bring $ for supper after the game.  The bus will be leaving at 3:30 p.m. and should return by 10:30 p.m. or sooner.


Basketball & Cheerleading Pictures

Sports pictures have been scheduled for Wednesday, March 10th beginning at 9:15 a.m.  The Junior High and Varsity basketball teams, and cheerleaders should come prepared with all uniform accessories.  Order forms will be sent home next week.


Elementary Art

The following art supplies are due on March 2nd:
3rd & 4th graders:  1 Box of Round Toothpicks
5th & 6th graders:  1 Box of Wooden Matches


Fine Arts

Fine Arts Competition will be here soon!  Tuesday, March 9th we will listen to all Music / Speech & Drama performances during Chapel.  Please have your music with you and be prepared to perform.  All Art, Photo, Textile, and Science displays must be turned in next Friday, March 5th.  This will give teachers sufficient amount of time to review each project.


Spring PTF

Tuesday, March 9th, will be our Fine Arts PTF.  You will not want to miss this evening's events as our students will be showcasing their talents in Music, Speech, Art & Photography, Science, and Home Economics.  This meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.


Toledo Mud Hens Field Trip

The attached permission slip with payment is due by Friday, March 5th.


Fine Arts Schedule

The back of the newsletter has a new schedule for Fine Arts for the next few weeks.
