Building Families For Christ
This Adult Sunday School Class is designed to help build a Christ-centered happy home. Whether you are newly weds, grandparents, or anywhere in between, you need to follow God’s blueprints to have a happy family and enjoy God’s blessings on your life.
We meet each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for fellowship and refreshments (class members volunteer to bring coffee and continental type breakfast items) followed by Bible teaching from Bro. Cook. Usually 30 – 40 adults come every Sunday to learn Bible principles on marriage, finances, parenting, and having a personal walk with God.
Our teacher, Bro. Tim Cook, is a 1994 Graduate of Hyles-Anderson College and has been on the pastoral staff of Berean Baptist Church since 1998. He and his wife Amy have four children: Daren, Jessica, Holly and Meagan.
Because life in the 21st century is so busy and people’s schedules are so demanding, we have several family activities throughout the year to encourage families to spend time together. We are reminded in Psalm 127:1 "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it:"
