Building families for christ
Adult Sunday School Class meets downstairs at 9:30am every Sunday. Coffee and breakfast is provided. Currently studying the book of Genesis, this class is designed to help the leaders in the family build strong Christian homes.
Berean bible class
Adult Sunday School Class meets in the auditorium at 9:30am every Sunday. This class is currently doing an in-depth study of the book of Revelation, and is perfect for those want a comprehensive picture of things to come.
Living Proof of Lenawee
Adult Sunday School Class for singles meets in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30am every Sunday. The Young adults have a time of food and fellowship around the Word of God, and have frequent class activities.
Berean Baptist academy
Since 1975 BBA has been an educational ministry of the Berean Baptist Church and is designed and dedicated to providing quality k4-12th grade Christian education.
Bus ministry
One of the most effective means of bringing people to Christ is the bus ministry. Berean Baptist Church as been using this tool to "bring them in" from all over the county for decades.
Children's choirs
We have choirs for children in grades 1 - 6 that practice weekly for presentations on a monthly basis. They also have opportunities to sing at the regional Master Clubs competition.
Children's church
The Primary Church for grades 1-3 and the Junior Church for grades 4-6 meet during the Sunday Morning Service.
deaf ministry
All services are interpreted for the deaf.
fair ministry
One of our biggest soul winning opportunities of the year is at the Lenawee County Fair. Each year, thousands of people visit the tent, and several hundred hear the plan of salvation and trust Christ as their savior in the tent.
music ministry
The music ministries of BBC are designed to involve as many people as possible while maintaining standards of excellence and solid conservative principles. In addition to the choir, and the adult ensemble, there are several vocal and instrumental groups that minister in song.
nurseries
Our nurseries are provided for every service, and are staffed with caring, trained adults. The nursery divisions are as follows: Bed babies, toddlers, and 2 & 3 year old. Parents of babies receive a remote pager so they can be called if the need arises.
puppet ministry
Puppet skits are given by the puppeteers on Sunday mornings using a whole cast of colorful characters that display a wide variety of personalities. The Children's ministries and Shepherds ministry enjoy having the puppets present their skits, messages, and songs.
Senior Saints Bible Study
Senior Saints Bible Study and Luncheon once a month on Thursdays at 10:30am at the church.. A time of singing and preaching precedes a lunch.
Shepherds ministry
One of Berean's favorite ministies is to those with physical and mental disabilities. Around 100 Shepherd's meet on Sunday mornings, have special parties throughout the year and a VBS during the summer. They hold a speacial place in the heart of our Shepherd and our church.
Soulwinning
There are several soulwinning times throughout the week: Teen soulwinning and nursing home ministry is on Wednesdays at 3:15pm and church-wide soulwinning and bus visitation is on Saturdays at 10am.
youth group
Teens are kept busy with several youth activities each month. Wednesdays, teens go soul-winning and minister to the nursing home. Summers include trips to camp, and youth conferences. Many of our teens help out on bus routes, in Master Clubs, sing in the choir, and assist in the junior churches.
